The only prayer of the petitioner is that the representation made by the petitioner on 17th June, 2022 to the Inspector of Registration and Commissioner of Stamp Revenue, Government of West Bengal being the respondent no.2 may be disposed of expeditiously. The representation was made with regard to a complaint made against the private respondent no.4, who is discharging duties as Muslim Marriage Registrar, Kultali Police Station, South 24 Parganas.

The State is represented.

After hearing learned counsel, the writ petition may be disposed of with the following direction: The respondent no.2 is directed to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 17th June, 2022 by passing a reasoned order after

hearing the petitioner and all interested parties within a period of three weeks from date. The reasoned order shall be passed within 20th February, 2023. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to the petitioner by 23rd February, 2023. Needless to say, the representation shall be considered in accordance with law.
