On behalf of the petitioner, a prayer has been made to relax the conditions of bail which was imposed upon him by virtue of the order dated 14.02.2025.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is adhering to the conditions of bail imposed upon him regularly and is presently residing at his relative's house under the jurisdiction of Kaliaganj Police Station.

Report filed by the State is kept with the record. It appears from the report that the present petitioner is regularly complying with the conditions of bail imposed upon him. It is also submitted that witness action has already started and out of twenty-nine charge-sheeted witnesses, only seven witnesses have been examined. 4.

In view of the above facts and circumstances and as the petitioner is complying with the conditions of bail, this Court is of the view that the conditions of bail may be relaxed.

Accordingly, condition of bail imposed upon the petitioner is relaxed to the extent that he is permitted to enter the jurisdiction of

Nakashipara Police Station where he is having his permanent residence. He is directed to meet the Inspector-in-charge, Nakashipara Police Station once in a week until further orders. He shall not tamper with evidence or intimidate witnesses in any manner whatsoever. 6.

Other conditions of bail as mentioned in the order dated 14.02.2025 shall remain the same.

State is directed to submit further report regarding the conduct of the petitioner before the learned trial court at an interval of fifteen days.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly, disposed of.
