Petitioner prays for bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year two months and twenty three days. Police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, continued custody of the petitioner is no longer required. 3.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that, prayer for bail of the co-accused was rejected by the Co-ordinate Bench on April 12, 2024.

Petitioner before us stands in the same footing. He refers to the materials in the Case Diary.

Materials in the Case Diary implicate the petitioner in a case of robbery. Petitioner was identified in a

Test Identification Parade. Stolen articles were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 5.

Prayer for bail for the co-accused was rejected by the Co-ordinate Bench on April 12, 2024 passed in C.R.M. (DB) 1114 of 2024.

Charges were framed and the trial is ongoing. The first prosecution witness could not be examined since the defence took time on the date fixed. 7.

Considering the incriminating materials as against the petitioner and the nature of the offence as well as the involvement of the petitioner in the crime, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 8.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 9.

C.R.M.(DB) No. 3648 of 2024 is dismissed.
