Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner complains that he submitted a written communication for being deceived of a sum of Rs.10,22,000/- by the private respondents. Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 disputes the contentions advanced on behalf of the petitioner.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Assistant Sub-Inspector Shantunu Ganguly of Jagacha Police Station sent an e-mail to the writ petitioner. However, the petitioner did not meet him with the documents in support of his claim.

In view of the police authorities being handicapped as the documents were not available with them, I direct the petitioner to meet the enquiry officer of the case with all documents in his custody in respect of the accusations levelled against the private respondents. In case after

enquiry and receipt of the documents, the police authorities are satisfied that cognizable offence is made out, the police authorities will act in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 26306 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
