This writ petition was preferred seeking a direction upon the District Inspector of Schools concerned to approve the panel prepared on the basis of the interview held on February 28, 2007 for the post of Group-D staff. The selection process was initiated in 2007 and the panel prepared on the basis of that interview has been expired. I am of the view that with the passage of time, this writ petition has become infructuous.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. All connected applications, if any, are also dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
