We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner uploaded offensive statements on a social media platform. Subsequently, she co-operated with investigation and deleted the post.

In view of the aforesaid development, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation for progress of investigation is not necessary and she may be granted anticipatory bail. 5.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Nazia Elahi Khan be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 13 th of November 2024 05:54:41 PM

amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS. She shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 6.
