Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for a period in excess of 2 years and 7 months. He points out that out of 27 prosecution witnesses, only 5 were examined. He also points out that most of the dates, the prosecution witness are absent. One prosecution witness turned hostile. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court in the materials of the case diary. Petitioner stands implicated in the crime of murder. Trial is going on. Out of 27 prosecution witnesses, 5 were examined.

State will produce the prosecution witnesses at the trial so that unnecessary adjournments are not taken at the trial.

Considering the complicity of the petitioner in the heinous crime of murder as appearing from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application being C.R.M. (DB) 3694 of 2024 stands dismissed.
