The petitioner being aggrieved by the action of CESC Limited, the licensee, for not giving a new electric connection had filed the instant writ petition. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ petition, the connection has been granted to the petitioner. The petitioner does not wish to proceed with the writ petition any further.

As such, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution without any order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
