Galib, Mr. Anubrata Santra ...for the State Counsel for the writ petitioner is aggrieved that his client is not being given permission by the State to hold a religious gathering at Kamdebpur under Police Station- Gopal Nagar, North 24 Parganas because he seeks to invite Pirzada Md. Abbas Siddiqui.

Counsel for the State submits that his client has made all efforts to ensure that the petitioner is accorded permission and the State, in fact, has no objection to the petitioner holding such 'Jalsa'. The petitioner, however, undertakes to hold a peaceful 'Jalsa' strictly in accordance with the law and the applicable rules. There shall be no statements of actions that would hurt the sentiments of any person.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
