A.G.P., Mr. Pannalal Bandopadhyay ...for the State The petitioner is aggrieved that despite a written complaint to the Nabadwip Police Station on November 28, 2019, no steps have been taken by the police. The petitioner is stated to have been assaulted by the private respondents.

Mr. Pannalal Bandopadhyay, learned counsel for the State produces instructions of the Inspector-in-Charge, Nabadwip Police Station, addressed to the learned Government Pleader, are taken on record.

It appears from the instructions that due enquiries were conducted and Nabadwip PS N.C.R. No. 755 of 2019 dated 14.12.2019 under Section 107 of the Cr. P.C. has been drawn up.

In view of the nature of the injuries, Section 323 of the Cr. P.C. has been added. The Nabadwip

Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The instructions of the Inspector-in-Charge, Nabadwip Police Station, dated 12.01.2020, addressed to the learned Government Pleader, may be kept with the record.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
