The affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

In spite of service of notice, none appears on behalf of the Bank.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that the petitioner has obtained loan of Rs. 6,50,000/- from UCO Bank, Liluah Branch which was sanctioned on December 29, 2005.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has repaid the total loan amount of Rs. 6,50,000/- and there is no dues and accordingly, the Bank has issued the no due certificate on August 7, 2025 certifying that the petitioner availed a home loan of Rs. 6,50,000/- on December 29, 2005 vide reference Account No. 05320601300025 which was fully repaid and closed on November 2, 2022. As on date, the petitioner has no outstanding amount in the abovementioned loan account. 5.

The petitioner submits that at the time of obtaining loan, the petitioner has kept the conveyance deed in lien with

the bank but in spite repayment of the total loan amount, the Bank has not returned the conveyance deed of the petitioner. The petitioner has made request to the Bank authorities but in spite of the receipt of the request, the Bank has not released the said original conveyance deed to the petitioner.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court finds that in spite of the receipt of the notice, none appears on behalf of the Bank. The only grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of refund of the loan, the Bank has not released the conveyance deed of the petitioner in spite of several requests made by the petitioner.

In view of the above, the respondent no. 5 is directed to immediately release the sale deed being sale deed no. 4676 dated March 20, 2006 to the petitioner, if the said deed is not required for any other loan amount of the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order.

WPA 25935 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
