Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent of the charges and has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case and is in custody for 484 days.

Learned advocate for the State submits that out of 13 witnesses cited by the prosecution, 12 witnesses have already been examined and the evidence of the Investigating Officer is in progress before the learned Trial Court.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am of the view that at this belated stage there is no scope for releasing the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2568 of 2025 is dismissed. Learned Trial Court would put in efforts to pronounce its verdict by 31.03.2026 until and unless adjournments are taken on behalf of the accused for defence evidence. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
