This is an application filed by the complainant of Case No.C2191 of 2019 being a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act praying for a direction upon the trial court for expeditious disposal of the case.

It is found from the record that the complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act was filed on 26th November, 2019. After initial examination of the complainant and the witnesses, the learned Magistrate issued process against the accused. Ultimately, on 6th June, 2022 appearance of the accused/opposite party could be ensured when he surrendered before the trial court. Next date was fixed for examination of the accused under Section 251 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on

21st July, 2022. However, till date the accused was not examined under Section 251 of the Cr.P.C.

Under such circumstances, the instant criminal revision is disposed of directing the trial court to examine the accused under Section 251 of the Cr.P.C within one month from the date of communication of this order and conclude trial of the case within three months thereafter. 4.

The petitioner is at liberty to communicate server copy of this order to the learned court below for information and strict compliance. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
