The petitioners are aggrieved as their younger son is not allowing the petitioners to enter their residence. To that effect, the SDO, Contai directed the Inspector-in-Charge, Contai Police Station. Accordingly, the Inspector-in-Charge, Contai Police Station made arrangements so that the petitioners would enter the residence, but conditions were imposed by the present petitioners as is reflected in the report. Accordingly, till date the order of the SDO, Contai in MWPSC Case No. 05/24 could not be implemented.

Mr. Maity, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are ready provided they are assured regarding their security. Accordingly, the petitioners would by 3rd April, 2025 report to the Inspector-in-Charge, Contai Police Station who would make

arrangements for smooth entry of the petitioners. A lady police personnel on every alternate day for the next 15 days would visit and ascertain as to whether any torture has been inflicted. A 15 days' report be prepared by maintaining general diary entries and a subsequent report be submitted before the Maintenance Tribunal and SDO, Contai. In case there is any violation, the SDO, Contai will pass further direction upon the Inspector-inCharge, Contai Police Station. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 25945 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
