Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners intend to participate in the 1st State Level Selection Test 2025 for Recruitment of Non Teaching Staff (Clerk & Group D only) in Recognized Government Aided/Sponsored Schools in West Bengal in terms of the notification published by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission on 9th October, 2025.

The notification clearly mentions that candidates who have been identified as tainted candidates in terms of the judgment and order dated 3rd April, 2025 in Civil Appeal No. 4800/2024 will not be eligible to apply.

The name of the petitioners features in the list of tainted candidates. They seek for cancellation of the list of tainted candidates uploaded by the Commission on 3rd November, 2025.

It appears that the Commission has taken steps to conduct the recruitment process in terms of the direction passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 6.

The list of tainted candidates has been published to disclose the names of candidates ineligible for participating in the recruitment process. The name of the petitioners features in the said list. 7.

The Hon'ble Supreme Court categorically mentioned that tainted candidates will not be provided the chance of recruitment.

Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioners seeking cancellation of the list of tainted candidates, published in terms of the order passed by the Court cannot be allowed.

In view of the above, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

10. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
