Petitioner approached this Court as the warrant of arrest issued against the private respondent was not being executed.

A report has been submitted by the State which reflects that the warrant of arrest was executed on 12th November, 2024 and execution report was submitted before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 19th Court, Calcutta in connection with a proceeding under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. In view of the purpose for which the petitioner approached this Court has been subserved, the writ petition being WPA 25955 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

There will be no order as to costs.
