Mr. Ivan Roy Mr. Nirupam Dutta ... for the respondent no.4 The order impugned dated September 11, 2023 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 3rd Court, Alipore does not call for interference. The deed of lease which was sought to be exhibited had been marked 'X' for identification. The same was not registered.

The order impugned is correct.

An unregistered document which was compulsorily registrable, could not be marked as an exhibit. If the petitioners wish to get the document admitted in evidence, the document is required to be impounded. The petitioner may approach the court for such impounding and the law will take its own course.

With the above observation, this revisional application stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
