1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.
2. The petitioner no.1 is the son of Late Krishna Prasad Mahata. The petitioner nos.2, 3 and 4 are the daughters of the deceased. The deceased was an Assistant Teacher in Joyalbhanga Primary School, Jhargram, Paschim Medinipur. He died on 1st November, 1991. The mother of the petitioners is stated to have been mentally challenged. She died on 21st February, 2009. The petitioners applied under the Right to Information Act in 2017 to ascertain as to whether the terminal dues of their father were paid.
3. In those circumstances, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur shall furnish necessary information to the petitioners as to whether the terminal benefits of the deceased father were paid and if so when and the quantum thereof.
4. Let the information as directed hereinabove be supplied to the petitioners and each one of them within a period of two months from the date of
communication of a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
5. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.
6. There will be no order as to costs.
7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
