For the State The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Baisali Basu, Learned Advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularised by the concerned authority. The subject-matter of this revisional application relates to Domjur P.S. Case No. 642 of 2022 dated 10.8.2022. The allegation relates to collection of money for the purpose of obtaining symbol of a particular political party for the purpose of contesting Legislative Assembly Election.

The present petitioner has produced certain money receipts to show that there was a business relationship of construction and supply of materials. The documents, which have been relied upon, cannot be considered by this Court, at this stage, as the same are exclusively the subject of scrutiny by the Investigating Agency.

I also find that the Learned Sessions Judge was pleased to reject the anticipatory bail of the present petitioner.

Having regard to the subject-matter involved in the F.I.R., this Court cannot exercise its jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to take up the issue with the Investigating Agency.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4281 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order, duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
