Mr. Sandipan Maity Mr. Saumen Gayen ...for the petitioner Mr. Arindam Chattopadhyay Mrs. Lipika Chatterjee ...for the State Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and status report submitted on behalf of the respondents are taken on record.

The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to pay compensation in respect of the land in question involved in the land acquisition proceeding being LA Case No. 4/29 of 2012-13 with regard to the plot no. 410, Mouza - Deulbari Debipur, J.L.No.158 which was utilised for construction of Aila affected Sundarban embankment in 2009.

It appears from the status report by the State respondents that compensation as sought in the writ petition has already been paid to the petitioner. In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.

There shall however be no order as to costs.
