The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Chandrakona Police Station in restoring her back into her matrimonial house. The petitioner's husband died sometime back.

Chandrakona Police Station has filed a report dated 04.12.2022.

It appears that on the petitioner's complaint, the Police have registered FIR No. 497 of 2022 dated 01.12.2022.

The petitioner requested the Police on 04.12.2022 not to investigate into the FIR on her complaint.

The petitioner's grievance as regards not being permitted to enter into her matrimonial house and a right of residence thereat can be addressed under the provisions of the PDWD Act, 2005.

In the above circumstances, this Court finds no inaction whatsoever on the part of the Police. 7.

The report of the Police is kept with the record. 8.

The writ petition is disposed of.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

10.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
