Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is a social worker. Due to his activities he has been receiving threats from anti-socials and from different other quarters. Accordingly, on his prayer this Court by an order dated 13.8.2021 passed in W.P.A. 25747 of 2018 was pleased to grant security to the petitioner because of such threat perception. In fact, he has been granted security upon payment of costs for the last two years. Now, he intends to visit Bankura for twelve days. The police authorities have given a higher estimate of the charges than what they usually levied. Four shifts instead of three are being charged for.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. An email has already been sent as response to the petitioner's representation. In fact, reliance is placed on a notification of March 2020 which says about the shifts constituting six hours and about the increase in payments for police personnel.

I do not find any reason to doubt the contentions of the State supported by documents appended to the report.

Therefore, there is no reason to interfere with the matter. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed, however, without any order as to costs.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon completion of requisite formalities. (JAY SENGUPTA, J.)
