The petitioners claim that in their own land, they are being prevented from cultivation and the police authorities after being complained are not acting upon such complaint.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent no.14 opposes the contention of the petitioners.

I have considered the contentions of the petitioners and I am of the opinion that right, title and interest in respect of a property is to be decided by the civil court. If there is any dispute as regards the petitioners being prevented from cultivating their own land, they would approach the jurisdictional civil court which will consider the contents of the petitioners in accordance with law. No interference can be made by this Court in respect of the contentions advanced. However,

having considered that the petitioners and the private respondents are at loggerhead, the police authorities are directed to keep a strict vigil and to see that no breach of peace and tranquility takes place at the locale.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 26352 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
