The petitioner seeks consideration of her representation praying for re-engaging her in the post of ASHA under HHW, Kaliaganj Municipality.

Learned advocate representing the Municipality submits that the petitioner was engaged on contractual basis. The engagement of the petitioner stood discontinued.

Without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, Uttar Dinajpur being respondent no. 2 herein to take into consideration the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties and pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the parties immediately thereafter.

It is made clear that the aforesaid respondent shall decide the representation on merit upon hearing all the

parties.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 29th December, 2021 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communication of the order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
