In spite of service, no one is representing the concerned school authorities.

Grievance of the petitioner is in spite of recommendation issued vide memo dated 18th April, 2022 by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for transfer of petitioner from Babu Dumro High School, Jhargram to Godapiasal MGM High School, Paschim Medinipur petitioner could not join the

transferred post since vacancy was not available in the school where petitioner was recommended for transfer.

West Bengal Central School Service Commission is represented by learned advocate who on instruction submits that if petitioner appears before the Chairman, West Bengal School Service Commission alternative arrangement can be made for transferring petitioner to another school subject to preference of the petitioner and based on availability of vacancies.

In view of aforesaid submission being made on behalf of the Commission, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear before the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission, being respondent no. 3 on 12th August, 2024 at 2 p.m. for completing exercise of recommending the name of the petitioner to another school for his transfer subject to availability of vacancies. It is also recorded herein that petitioner has previously indicated three alternative vacancies where he was willing to be transferred. Those vacancies shall also be taken into consideration provided the vacancies are available as on date.

If ultimately petitioner opts an available vacancy for his transfer, consequential steps shall be taken by the Commission and other respondents in order to facilitate transfer of the petitioner. There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
