1. The status report filed by the investigating agency in Court today is taken on record.

2. The victim is still missing. The prosecution submits that no incriminating materials could be found against the persons named in the FIR. However, no final report has been filed in the case before the appropriate Court.

3. We direct the State to positively conclude the investigation within a period of three months from date and file a final report before the appropriate Court upon prior notice to the petitioner.

4. Depending upon the outcome of the report, the petitioner shall be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the habeas corpus petition is disposed of.

6. The report filed today shall be kept in the safe custody of the Court.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
