The petitioners pray for implementation of the order of demolition dated 16th August, 2022 passed by the Commissioner, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

Learned advocate appearing for the Corporation submits that necessary police assistance has been sought for from the Baguiati Police Station and as soon as the same is made available, the Corporation will proceed to demolish the unauthorized construction. In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Corporation

to implement the order of demolition at the earliest, but positively within 31st January, 2023.

The respondent No.8 being the Officer-in-Charge Baguiati Police Station is directed to render all necessary assistance and co-operation to the men and agents of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation at the time of demolition of the unauthorized construction.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
