1. Heard the learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner has been rejected in June, 2023. Offences if proved would attract mandatory life imprisonment. His bail prayer was also rejected earlier on merits. Trial is in progress. Delay in the case has been contributed by dilatory tactics adopted on behalf of the defence.

3. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
