1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of eyewitnesses implicate the petitioner in the murder. The offence, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment.

3. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The prayer for bail is thus rejected.

5. We request the Trial Court to expedite the trial and bring the same to its logical conclusion without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
