Mr. Abhinaba Dan ...for the Petitioners Two affidavits of service filed by the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners are taken on record.
It has been submitted by the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners that initially a letter dated May 16, 2025 had been served upon the learned Advocates appearing for the respondents indicating that the matter was likely to be listed on May 19, 2025 or as and when this Court would be sitting singly and subsequently another letter dated May 19, 2025 was served upon the learned Advocates appearing for the respondents indicating that the matter would be listed on May 23, 2025 under the heading "To Be Mentioned" for correction.
However, none appears for the respondents today when the matter is called on. The matter had been mentioned by the learned Advocate for the writ petitioner on the ground that the website copy of the order dated March 27, 2025 passed
in WPA 26312 of 2024 carried a mistake inasmuch as in the second line of the 9th paragraph of the said order contains the expression "be put" after the expression "petition will" and before the expression "a bar" instead of the correct expression "not be". This Court finds that the website copy of the order indeed carries mistakes.
This Court finds that the order dated March 27, 2025 passed in WPA 26312 of 2024 which is there in the file (case records) contains the correct expression "not be" after the expression "petition will" and before the expression "a bar" in the second line of paragraph 9 of the said order.
It is therefore directed that appropriate steps be taken forthwith and the order dated March 27, 2025 passed in WPA 26312 of 2024 uploaded on the server be immediately corrected so that the same is in conformity with the said order dated March 27, 2025 contained in the file.
This Court takes a serious view of the matter and expects that the concerned person who was at the helm of and had been tasked with uploading of Court orders in the present case will be careful in future. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
