1. Petitioner is in custody for 162 days. He submits co-accused are on bail. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the principal accused who shot at the victim. Medical report shows bullet injury and corroborates the prosecution case.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

5. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
