Learned intervening counsel draws the attention of this Court to the fact that the 2nd and 3rd petitioners have not signed the vakalatnama which has been appended to the writ petition. Their signatures have been allegedly forged by the 1st petitioner in the vakalatnama. The 2nd and 3rd petitioners are present before this Court. However, the 1st petitioner is not present.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the 1st petitioner is a habitual offender and several criminal proceedings are pending against him. Warrants of arrest have also been issued against him. The 1st petitioner is evading the process of law.

It appears that the entire relief claimed in the writ petition is on behalf of the 1st petitioner. Since it prima facie appears that there has been personation of the 2nd and 3rd petitioners by the 1st petitioner in the writ petition

as well as the connected vakalatnama, the 2nd and 3rd petitioners are at liberty to take necessary steps against the 1st petitioner in this regard. In the event a written complaint is lodged by them before the police authority, the said authority shall take immediate steps against the 1st petitioner in terms thereof.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is dismissed.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
