It is submitted by the petitioner that the height of the petitioner is 169.6 cm. and as such is entitled to the benefit for being considered to be 170 cm in height for being permitted to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (in short, "PET") under Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (in short, "CAPFs"), Secretariat Security Force (in short, "SSF"), Riflemen (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (in short, "AR") and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (in short, "NCB") Examination, 2024.

However, the overall marks of the petitioner is below the cut-off marks and as such no fruitful purpose will be fulfilled in pressing the writ petition. The writ petition is, therefor, dismissed for nonprosecution. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
