1. Petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

2. Learned advocate appearing for petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for about 2 (two) years, 5 (five) months and 25 (twenty-five) days.

3. There is no likelihood of the trial ending anytime soon since all prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined.

4. Petitioner stands identified in the Test Identification (T.I.) parade with stolen articles being recovered from his possession.

5. Trial is in progress. Court is informed that there are three more prosecution witnesses to be examined.

6. In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence, the involvement of the petitioner therein and the fact that the trial is at the fag end, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

8. CRM (DB) 3835 of 2024 is disposed of.
