Mr. Upendra Roy, Ms. Kanchan Ray ... for the petitioners It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the Metro Railway Authorities have approved the appointment of the petitioner no. 2 on compassionate ground on 26th July, and subsequently, appointment has been granted to the petitioner no. 2 on 29th July, 2024. A communication received by the petitioner no. 2 from the Metro Railway Authorities dated 29th July, 2024 is placed before the Court by the learned advocate for the petitioners, which is taken on record.

After hearing the petitioners, I find that the grievance of the petitioners have been redressed and there exist no pending issue for adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of by recording that the petitioner no. 2 has been given compassionate appointment.
