Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner M/L. No.226 Rakib submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition the petitioner's grievance so far as the information which was furnished with Rajarhat Police Station has been addressed and a case has been registered. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that Rajarhat Police Station case no. 444/2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code.

Having regard to the steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. If the investigation has not been concluded till date, the investigating authority will take the investigation to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations WPA 26328 of 2024 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
