Present petition has been filed for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being Misc. Case No. 275 of 2023 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Haldia. 2.

Learned counsel submits that appropriate direction may be issued for the expeditious disposal.

The speedy trial is a facet of fundamental right. 4.

The Court considers that no prejudice will be caused if an order is passed for the speedy trial as its benefit of the stakeholders.

In the facts and circumstances learned judge is directed to conduct expeditious proceedings of Misc. Case 275 of 2023 under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005 in accordance with law without giving unnecessary adjournment.

This revision petition is disposed of.
