Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits eye-witness to the incident took the name of the petitioner.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of eye-witness implicates the petitioner in the brutal murder. Another person was also severely injured.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
