The petitioners claim to be teaching in different Government schools in sanctioned posts. They participated in the 2nd SLST. They seek marks on account of prior teaching experiences.

The certificates issued by the Schools in favour of the petitioners annexed to the writ petition are relied upon.

The prayer of the petitioners has been opposed by the learned advocate for the Commission. It has been submitted that the petitioners obtained the certificate in support of their prior teaching experience from the school very recently.

The certificate relied upon by the petitioners mentions that they are teaching in sanctioned posts. The Commission is the ultimate authority to take a call on the said certificate.

Without entering into the merits of the said certificate, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Commission to take into consideration the certificates relied upon by the petitioners. 6.

If the petitioners can be treated to have prior teaching experience, then necessary marks shall be allotted.

Decision shall be taken in the matter at the earliest.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
