Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner's wife has been involved with some NGO supposedly having some dubious business. The petitioner stays at his home with his minor daughter. The private respondent at the behest of his wife along with other accomplices would create ruckus in front of the petitioner's house and would often threaten, intimidate and harass the petitioner and his family members. A complaint was made before the police authorities, but no action was taken.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondent denies the allegations and submits that no such incident as alleged has happened.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. The complaint made by the petitioner does not make out a cognizable case. Therefore, no FIR was registered. However, a proceeding has been initiated under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It appears that the police authorities have already initiated a proceeding on the complaint of the petitioner under Section 107 of the Code.

Therefore, no further order need to be passed in this regard.

However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. With these observations, WPA 25195 of 2023 is disposed of.
