Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent of the charges and there has been no recovery from the petitioner and even after 99 days, the police authorities are after him for his detention. Petitioner submits that he was earlier arrested in connection with other three cases and because of reasons best known to the investigating agency, he is being foisted with one after another case.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the seizure list, the recoveries which have been made and the close proximity of the place from which the recovery has been made.

Having considered the materials appearing and the period of detention of the present petitioner and the fact also that investigation of the case is in progress, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1446 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed.
