Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that 272 grams of Heroin was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Additionally, it has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody for about 1 year 11 days and there has been no progress in the case.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that charge has already been framed and dates have been fixed for evidence. Prosecution would put in efforts for fair progress of the trial of the case.

Having considered that commercial quantity of contraband was seized from the possession of the petitioner, I am of the view that the petitioner has failed to overcome the

rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1447 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
