1. By way of this public interest litigation the petitioner seeks for action by the various Central Agencies against the respondent nos.16 to 20 with the allegation that funds sanctioned for the Solid Waste Management Project have been misappropriated.

2. In this regard, the learned advocate for the petitioner has drawn our attention to a representation sent through the advocate dated 17.06.2023.

On going through the said representation, we find that it is a request made under the provisions of the Right to Information Act and it is not a petition or a complaint to the authorities to take action in respect of specific instances. If in the opinion of the petitioner the reply given to the application filed under the Right to Information Act is not satisfactory or if information

has not been furnished, there are appellate remedies available under the provisions of the Right to Information Act. Therefore, on the said representation dated 17.06.2023, the prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted.

Therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed.

5. However, this will not prevent the petitioner from approaching the concerned authorities by way of a proper representation.
