The grievance of the petitioner is directed for issuance of a Land Loser Certificate to the petitioner. It is alleged on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is aggrieved because of the acquisition proceedings initiated by the State respondents and is entitled to a Land Loser Certificate.

The State is represented and submits that the work relating to land loser petitions is progressing slowly and the case of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

The petitioner also relies on a representation dated 4th December, 2019 which was served on the State respondents for consideration.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the respondent no.2 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner (appearing at page 24 of the petition) and respond to the same within a period of two months from date in accordance with law.

I make it clear that I have not gone in to the merits of the case of the petitioner and the observation made in this order will not be binding on the respondent no.2 insofar as the merits of the case are concerned in considering the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 23640 of 2019 stands disposed off.
