Datta ... for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Arindam Sen Mr. Debarshi Brahma ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner has prayed for cancellation of the order of anticipatory bail granted by the learned Sessions Judge, Purba Bardhaman on 01.10.2024.

It has been informed on behalf of the State that the petitioner subsequently surrendered and obtained regular bail on 07.10.2024. The impugned order reflects that the learned Sessions Judge perused the case diary and after observing that the injury report is simple as also assessing the overall accusations, was of the opinion that custodial detention of the accused/o.p. is uncalled for.

Having regard to the reasons assigned by the learned Sessions Judge, I am of the opinion that there is no scope for interference in the impugned order. However, this will not prevent the petitioner from approaching the learned jurisdictional court, if there are change of circumstances including the issues relating to threat, coercion and/or interference with the progress of the trial of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, CRM (DB) 3671 of 2024 is disposed of.
