Matrimonial discord between the parties gave rise to G.R. Case No.36 of 2019 under Sections 498A/406/323/506/34 of the

Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Besides the instant revision opposite party No.2 also filed a civil revision being C.O. No.234 of 2021. The said matter was referred to the High Court Mediation Committee. The final report of the Mediation has been filed by the parties. It appears from the final report of the Mediation that the matrimonial dispute has been amicably settled and the parties have agreed to withdraw all pending civil and criminal cases. Let a copy of this final report of the Mediation be kept with the record.

In view of such settlement, G.R. Case No. 36 of 2019 under Sections 498A/406/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act presently pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Sealdah be quashed.

The instant revision is, thus, disposed of.

All connected applications are also disposed of. The trial Court while recording the final order in the above mentioned case in terms of the order passed in the instant

revision shall take into account the matter regarding release of gold ornaments to its lawful owner.
