1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. Mr. Ray, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners'

grievance is that they were unable to participate in the election process, due to paucity of time for submission of the nomination papers.

3. He further submits that they are presently aggrieved by the election of the Board of Directors to various posts of office bearers, which has not been intimated to them. It is only from a letter given by the respondent no. 5, they became aware that the said respondent had been appointed as a Secretary of the Co-operative

Society. There is also a letter written to the SPIO of the Election Commission, which directed the respondent no. 2, the Returning Officer, to supply the information to the petitioners apropos their application under Section 6 of the Right to Information Act dated May 19, 2025. Such information has not yet been supplied.

4. Mr. Nayak, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 1 and 3 and Mr. Sureka, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 2, conjointly submit that such information will be supplied at the earliest.

5. Respondent no. 2 is directed to supply such information by December 15, 2025 to the petitioners.

6. Petitioners are free to pursue their remedies under the West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act, 2006, and the regulations framed therein on 2012 in accordance with law.

7. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

9. Since no affidavit has been called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to be denied.

10.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
