Ct.No.29.

C.R.R. 4168 of 2011 In the matter of : Md. Mahasin & Ors.
... Petitioners.
Mr. Binay Kr. Panda, Mr. N. P. Agarwal, Ms. Pushpita Saha.
...for the State.
None appears on behalf of the petitioners.
Proper authority is requested to regularize the appointment of Mr. Binay Kumar Panda, Mr. N. P. Agarwal and Ms. Pushpita Saha, learned Advocates.
Learned Advocate on behalf of the State appears and submits that this revisional application is pending since 2012 and from then on petitioner is not taking any steps and enjoying bail.
This is a revisional application praying for quashing of the proceedings involving an offence under Section 504/506/323/427/379/34 of the Indian Penal Code. According to the First Information Report, all six accused assaulted the complainant and snatched Rs.5,000/- from his pocket. Some passer-by rescued him from the clutch of the accused. The complaint was lodged under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure which was forwarded to Polba Police Station Disrict-Hooghly for investigation. Accused persons were granted anticipatory bail.
After careful perusal of the written complaint under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and inaction on the
part of the petitioners, I do not find any reason to continue with this revisional application further.
Accordingly, the revisional application stands dismissed. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hooghly for information. (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
