The matter relates to condonation of age and other prayers.

Mr. Saikat Banerjee, learned advocate for the Board has drawn my attention to prayer 9 (b) of the writ application which talks about condonation of age and also the affidavit page of the petition which shows that the petitioner is 58 years of age and he prays for condonation of his age for 2016 recruitment process. The matter has been filed on 24.11.2022. The petitioner prays for condonation in respect of one recruitment process which occurred more than six years before filing of the petition.

After considering the above facts, I do not find any merit in the writ application as condonation of age cannot be done by a court first and secondly in respect of a complete recruitment process a person of 58 years of age cannot come for certain relief after condonation of his age. No relief in this matter can be granted to the petitioner.

The writ application is dismissed.
