It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner he is in custody for more than a year. Co-accused has been enlarged on bail. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits bail prayer of one Rakib Khan who stands on the same footing with the petitioner was turned down by this court. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner made a confessional statement he had committed the murder. In view of the aforesaid incriminating material and bearing in mind the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 4.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
